T-33/250H $5 Sept. 2, 1861 New Variety Counterfeit
Grade: VF
A new variety and R-10. Similar to 250F but with 'fac-simile Confederate Note' in the left margin. A wood-cut counterfeit with a number of differences between this note and other counterfeits seen. The most obvious difference is the FIVE DOLLAR legend, with the bar of the E in FIVE missing and the detail of the four corners is very crudely done. Plate J, imprint: none. Some flaws.
