T-42 $2 June 2, 1862 Cutting Error
Grade: PMG Ch. UNC 63
This is the only error of its kind that we can recall having seen and it is in high grade at that. On its own merits, a pretty Choice CU T-42 with bold printing and near cameo contrast is a $600-$700 piece. With this very unusual cutting error, one has to wonder just how high a price might be needed to acquire it.
