A late-chartering, small size only bank which produced Type 2 notes. Very scarce as a type since there are roughly 300 Type 2 hundreds known nationwide. Very well margined, bright, and deeply embossed, with just a trace of corner handling appearing to account for the grade. We sold this same note for $1380 a dozen years ago and it remains near the top of the condition census for this charter. The only CU example we see sold for close to $5000 in 2014.
