Grade:

An amazing Lazy Deuce from the capital of Colorado Territory. It's signed by the Kountze brothers, Luther and C.B. There are few Deuces known from the Colorado Territory and most are either on Denver or Pueblo. This note has had slight restoration on the two right corners, but unless you knew it, it would be a trick to find. Otherwise, the note does not show much circulation except corner folds that are virtually undetectable. This note is dated August 15, 1866, and is an important part of Colorado history.
