With a scant printing of only 3,125 this is by far the scarcest denomination from this otherwise common issue. The note is strictly uncirculated with great print detail and robust signatures. These tri-color Colonials have always been very popular with collectors due to their superb eye appeal. While Newman lists the common denominations at $250 in Unc and $500 in Choice CU the 6 pound note is valued at $2,000 in Unc and $3,000 in Choice CU.
