In terms of both technical grade and eye appeal this high denomination tri-color note is astounding in every way. A wonderfully embossed and well margined example, just a couple of handled corners accounting for the grade. With a printing of only 3,125 this is far and away the scarcest denomination from this painfully common series. The Newman tome places this denomination at $1,000 in Extremely Fine and $2,000 in Unc.
