These oversized Virginia notes have always been extremely popular with collectors. Due to their size they got damaged very easily when folded. This note is no exception as there are a couple of tears along the vertical and horizontal folds but far less than what is typically seen and barely noticeable except for when the note is candled. The paper is fresh and bright with bold signatures remaining and excellent margins. Newman lists this at $3,000 in VF with no higher grade given. While that value is likely high for a note with minor problems its technical grade and eye appeal should carry the day to a solid four-figure price.
