Grade:
Ch. CU
This is single-handedly the nicest example we have ever handled from these earlier North Carolina issues. The paper is as white as a mid-winter blizzard with bold ink contrast. There are three hulking margins with a smaller fourth that does little to impugn the integrity of this piece. We can only recall seeing one CU example in recent years and that brought a four-figure price, as should this note. Newman lists this at $400 in VF with no higher grade given.
