This bank was chartered in 1886 using the name Jewell City, but the City part of the name was deleted from the small size plates after the town did the same. We were fortunate to auction a number one sheet on this bank a few years ago, but have not been able to offer a single small size example since 2006. Besides the uncut sheet, only ten small notes are known.
