This bank, which issued both large and small notes, was liquidated in the summer of 1931, just two months after the First NB in Reading was organized. Just 16 specimens are enumerated in the census from the earlier chartered bank, with this being the only $20 Brown Back. Attractive for the grade and with no obvious faults.
