An excellent example to represent this scarce one-bank town. Not only is this note new to the census, increasing the total to 14 large, but it is the only $5 1882 Date Back currently recorded on the bank. Unmolested and with a minimum of soiling, mostly on the back. However, the top margin is trimmed right to the frame line. According to the data we have, this is the earliest note on the bank offered at auction in the last decade or more.
