Lot #2420 - Colony, First NB, W11531

National Bank Notes > Kansas

Colony, First NB, W11531
Fr. 632 $10 1902ND
Grade: VF/XF
This tiny one-bank community in Anderson County was home to less than 1,000 people when the First National Bank was organized in 1919. The total bank issue was under $200,000 for the 12 years this institution was in business, so it is no wonder few notes have survived. This attractive specimen has strong pen signatures and three vertical folds. It must have been carried for a while as half the back shows some wallet dirt. Despite this minor distraction, the census indicates that this note is one of the finest known on the bank. Signed by J. V. Lintner, Cashier, and W. L. Jones, President.
Current Bid: $ 375.00

Estimate: ($ 500.00 - $ 1,000.00)
