Another wonderful trophy proof from The Central Rail Road & Banking Co. Also unlisted in Haxby, and a unique offering in the ABN sale. This proof has several spectacular vignettes; at the left is a countryside scene of a train going across a river, in the center three maidens, on the bottom right ships at seat, two ornate $100 counters on top corners with "C" overprints on both sides. This is a rare set of Georgia proofs, and the first public offering since the 1990 ABN sale. Imprint of Danforth, Wright & Co. Printed on India paper and mounted on card (Plate A). No ABNC stamp on back. From the Eastern Collection.
