This is the first of an incredible pair of notes from the Central RR and Banking Co. of Georgia. This proof is unlisted in Haxby. It was pictured on page 55 of the 1990 ABN catalog. The note has a Fifty overprint, a maiden with flowers at left, and a classic steam train vignette. Just an amazing unique proof, and one of the highlights from this collection. Imprint of Danforth, Wright & Co. Printed on India paper and mounted on card (Plate A). No ABNC stamp on back. From the Eastern Collection.
