A rarity from this Kennebec County bank that was chartered in 1865 and liquidated in 1879. There are five notes reported, with this being the only Deuce. It has very decent quality and excellent pen signatures. The only example offered publicly has appeared three times in an eight year period, realizing between $2,000 and $5,000. These generally start much higher and this is a rare one.
