This is the first of a trio of notes from the Norfolk Bank. They were offered in the form of a $1-1-2-3 sheet in the 1990 ABN sale. Scene of farmer running after farm animals at bottom left with ornate "1" counters at top corners and intricate red overprint at bottom right. Only two such proofs are known for this denomination. Unlisted variety in Haxby. Imprint of Danforth, Wright & Co. Printed on India paper and mounted on card (Plate A). No ABNC stamp on back. From the Eastern Collection.
