T-6 $50 1861
Grade: PCGS Ch. New 63 PPQ
This is a lovely UNC 1861 Richmond $50 with Pallas and Ceres sitting on a bale of cotton with Justice holding the scales of Justice at the left and George Washington at the right. On the back it says, "Issued by me, Sept. 1, 1861, Major W.J. Anderson - Memphis, TN". A lovely, true UNC note with complete originality, bright, fresh colors and the margins are consistent with the series. I have recently seen this type for sale at $5,000.
