A very scarce Boston $10 Demand Note that has an excellent overall appearance, and it is very difficult for me to explain, the Fr. 7 and Fr. 8 being the same grade. This note has great color, paper quality and lovely signatures. There are just five reported that may be higher grades. This note last appeared in the 2007 Spink sale and brought $29,900. There is a repaired split on the back. Graded VF 25, split repair, by PMG.
