The 1928 St. Louis star is not the most common star from the series, but this gorgeous example would make a perfect acquisition for the collector needing just one $10 1928 star. These early Fed stars have virtually disappeared from the market in the last few years. I can see a day when years will pass between offerings of even the most "common" stars.
