A $3 note from this Ohio Mormon bank. This denomination is much rarer than the others, especially as it was not counter stamped with "Anti" to the left of the word BANK and "ing Co." to the right. The note has great margins, wonderful signatures of J(oseph) Smith, Jr. and S(idney) Rigdon, early church leaders, and a wonderful vignette of a train. Like the other notes on this bank, these were later refused by the bank, which sparked the Mormon migration further westward. There are a number of gentle folds on this note, but it still has great eye appeal. This note is listed as Haxby OH 245 G6 and Rust 6.
