GA-108a $6 June 8, 1777 Serial #8
Grade:
PCGS Apparent VF 30
A highly desirable example of this Georgia Colonial which has either a blue or green seal but which is unknown for sure since there has been some oxidation. Five boldly-executed signatures are found on this scarcer variety with the word "IN" printed in red. The PCGS holder lists some problems about pieces being replaced and redrawn, with severed and repaired as well as small edge tears. This is the first one of these we have seen in a while and they always bring plenty of money with this type of grade and eye appeal. Newman values this at $2,000 in VF and $3,750 in XF.
