The Rainbow $20 has to be considered as one of the most important of all notes of the $20 denomination or lower. Currently there are about 200 serial numbers recorded. Even the Technicolor $20 appears more often in top grade. The PCGS Pop report includes three '66 PPQs' and three '67 PPQs', making this jewel among the top 10 or so safely in the currency world. Thankfully some of these beauties were saved. The colors on this example are amazingly brilliant yet somewhat subdued. The note will be close to your heart for decades as it has been for decades for its prior custodian. I can find a '67 PPQ' that realized $123,375 in January 2014 in a Heritage auction, but no '66s' for four years or so. I expect strong interest as I try to understand why it's not a '67' or a '68'.
