The census increases to 18 with the appearance of this nice looking large note from Otero County. There is almost no soiling on the surface and the bank signatures are well inked. The nicest Blue Seal to be auctioned from this bank since we sold a $20 1902ND in similar grade in the 2011 Memphis sale. From the Rocky Mountain Collection. ---- Everyone recognizes Rocky Ford for their famed cantaloupes and watermelons. It original name, however comes from the rock-lined ford that crossed the river near the site.
