This Original Series $10 is a rare and under appreciated type, with fewer than 300 examples reported from all banks nationwide. Another note obtained for the Selvage Collection from the Don Kelly holdings. Written on the partially attached top selvage is the notation 'First note signed in the new banking room. H.W. Allen June 25/75'. H.W. Allen also signed the note as President. In addition, this low charter #59 is one of the tougher charters to locate among the 'first hundred' charters. A special item with multiple attractions.
