This bank, in Mackinaw County, was chartered in 1888 and it remained a one-bank town. Currently there are 10 large notes reported on the bank. This $5 Brown Back is the only Brown Back known and no doubt it will be well received. It had a small professional restoration in two corners but it isn't easy to find. Pen signatures of Wm. Saulson, Vice President and a cashier's signature I cannot decipher. This is one of the 31 or so banks that has the state name in the tombstone. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
