If you have ever been to Quincy you know it is a beautiful old town on the Mississippi River, about 75 miles up-river from St. Louis. The town has been there a long time, and this National Bank was not even the first chartered in town. The bank was chartered in 1865 and closed in 1872 after issuing 5,671 sheets of $5, $10 and $20 First Charter Originals. This note is unique and, in my opinion, it is likely to stay that way. The note has impressive pen signatures of the Bull brothers.
