Fr. 526 $100 1882BB
Grade:
CGA Gem UNC 65
This is the very rare Rosecrans-Morgan signature combination. These signatures were only used on $100 Brownbacks for a total of four national banks, including this bank, with four known. Those include New Castle, PA with two known, Austin, TX with one known and Owatonna, MN with none reported. That means there are only seven known $100 Brownbacks in existence today that share this very rare signature combination. In fact, the entire printing of $100 Brownbacks, from all four banks that issued, was only 9,099 notes. This note looks Superb, but has a faint corner fold line in the border that was missed when graded. I suppose it should be a "63", but it appears much nicer than that grade would indicate. Here is your opportunity to obtain one of the rarest of all signature combinations. Graded Gem UNC 65 by CGA.
