This is one of only two notes known from this extremely rare Butler County bank in oil country, not far from Wichita. This bank lasted from 1884 to 1896, issuing only 4,455 sheets of $5 Brownbacks. The pen signatures are quite strong, but the heavy folds and flaws have been fixed.
