Fourteen piece lot. The two piece Washburn set is extremely scarce; the $1 is well used with a tear at lower left. The $5 is much better, though with a foxing area on back. The Boole-Scrip $1 from Boston is in high grade, as is the Clearing House set numbered 0001742 (these were all unissued). From Gloucester comes the Gorton-Pew Fisheries set; the 25˘ has a large area of foxing, the 50˘ is missing its lower left corner. An informational letter from the fishery is included. The Edes set from New Bedford is in higher grade, with clip shadow.
