This note was part of the Power Collection that we sold in November 2006 where it realized $862.50. There it was described as: "Rondout was an incorporated village named for the creek on which it lies, near its mouth into the Hudson River in Ulster County. Rondout was the Hudson River port for Kingston, a city about a mile away from the river. In 1828 it became the eastern terminus of the Delaware and Hudson Canal and grew quickly, until its merger with the city of Kingston in 1872. This is a somewhat larger Ulster County bank. Probably not rare enough to sell for much more than a type note price. Second seal. Group 3, Series Standard. Plate date 10/16/00."
