The current edition of the Small Size Book by Schwartz and Lindquist indicates that only 1,280,000 stars were printed for this district, beginning with #1. Thus, this three-million-plus serial number could not exist, yet here it is. If that were not reason enough to bid, this note's huge margins and flawless surfaces remind me of the type of note one might find in a "68" holder. Either way, our conservative estimate will probably prove to be woefully inadequate.
