Missing from all but the greatest collections. In fact, one collector in the Midwest with nearly unlimited resources, adequate time, and exposure to many of the finest errors to ever cross the block still lacks a blank back $2. All known examples surfaced in a bank in northwest Indiana in the late 1990s when the head teller was cleaning out the old supply of 1976s to create room for the new issue of 1995s to stagnate. In 2004, one collector was offered $25,000 for a blank back Deuce and this cataloger was unable to secure even a single example. Ex: DPC-Lawndale Collection. Cost in 2013 was $4,600.
