This is a very nice looking VF with excellent stamped signatures along with great color and centering. From the Power Collection, at $1,150, where it was described as, "Massillon is located in Stark County, on the Tuscarawas River. The first area that was settled in what would become Massillon was settled in 1812 by a sheep farmer and his wife, who shortly opened a wool mill. Upon the opening of the Ohio and Erie Canal, Massillon became known as the Port of Massillon, primarily exporting wheat. After the arrival of the railroad, Massillon began its steady growth, supporting such industries as pig-iron, glass, and coal mining. Massillon was not officially incorporated until 1853, as a village. This is another rather available bank, provided you don't want a $5 Brown Back.
