This $50 Gold Certificate is fresh and original with a couple of pinholes and a tiny edge split. This beauty is new to the census and from the Eastern cash hoard. Great color, body, centering and never been messed with. There are now only 21 serial numbers recorded and this note is likely the third finest. Back in 2012 the Gem brought $176,250 and the XF 40 at $11,500.
