This high-end VF was last offered in our March 2005 sale, where it was described as follows, "It is always an opportunity to be excited when newer reported items come to the surface, such as this impressive $1,000 Gold Certificate of 1922. There is nothing to apologize for because the grade is original and problem-free. Other than that, nothing much matters on this excellent new example to the census. This note has excellent, totally original quality, impact-free margins and has three folds. Currently there are 34 notes reported."
