May 1, 1857. No. 3465. 160 G8a. Rawdon, Wright, Hatch and Edson. Santa Claus vignette top center, allegorical scene, left. Freight train at lower right. One of the most iconic vignette types for Obsolete collecting and these Lancaster notes are always a great way to illustrate the fine engraving work. This note like most others is heavily circulated and shows with repairs with the notable areas being the upper corners which have been replaced.
