A gorgeous, circulated Chicago $500 that has been recently discovered and is not currently listed in the census that I am using. This makes 35 serial numbers recorded, including that in government collections. I would say this note is a real peach and its appearance clearly proves the point. All original color and exquisite paper quality. Only a tiny nick on the face, along the margin, is a possible setback, but it is a peach. Rarity and availability had lots to do with the price and these are just not available. Graded VF 30 by PMG.
