This is one of the neatest errors I have ever had the opportunity to handle from the modern era. It just doesn't seem feasible that with inspectors watching a print run, and again through the cutting process, such a bold and a mean lime-green plastic, with a black marker written 8/8 that was its earlier use, could become stuck to the face, and the third printing was then printed over it. The note is as it looks with part of the serial number and district letter. Several years ago another bill was sold that had a tiny piece of similar material that I speculated could have been from a Wrigley's Spearmint Gum package, but not the case now. I feel confident if they were laid side-by-side they would be the same. Much more interesting than any obstruction I can remember. Graded Ch. Abt. New 55 PPQ by PCGS.
