January 1, 1842.This counterfeit was made using a Perkins plate and undoubtedly fooled many people. There is an area of roughness in the lower left corner and some small paper pulls in the center of the face. This bank became the Atlas National Bank of Boston, charter 654, on December 29, 1864.
