Opportunities to purchase the higher denomination large size notes diminish with each passing day. Although an even dozen examples are recorded on this Friedberg number, two special circumstances combine to enhance this note's value. First, three examples are tied up in the ANA Museum or the San Francisco Fed, and are off the market. Second, a run of five notes are uncirculated, and should any one of those five appear at auction today, a six-figure price would not be a surprise. That leaves only four examples for most collectors. This solid example is very attractive. Some light professional edge restoration is noted. Easily as nice as the most recent example to appear in the 2011 FUN sale.
