These Tyndall notes have always been a favorite of mine because of the brilliant blue signatures of H.F. Abbott and Wm. Thompson. There are 21 large notes known, but I have seen several with ruined signatures after an ill-advised attempt to upgrade the note caused the blue ink to run. Who knows how many are left in their natural state?
