This bank was chartered in 1872, just in time to issue Aces and Deuces. It was then placed into receivership in 1877. This is only the third large note recorded and they are low grade Deuces. This note has a nice appearance for the grade and the pen signatures enhance the desirability for collectors. One of the rare notes from this Carroll County bank.
