Fr. 1132-B $500 1918 New York
Grade:
PCGS VF 30
This highly sought after type is represented here by an extremely pleasing and problem-free specimen. The surfaces are bright and clean and all the design features are complete without any pesky white fold lines interrupting the flow. This note last appeared in a September 2011 Heritage sale in an ultra-conservative PMG-20 holder where it brought $16,100. The grade is now a bit more accurate I think. Even the Heritage cataloger mentioned that the grade 'appears to be quite conservative'. In today s better market I expect this note to shine.
