Records indicate that there are nine $5 First Charter Jeffries-Spinner notes known, in all grades, and I am sure most are no better than this note, that doesn't show in the census. It's graded rather conservatively as the paper has some body and it has excellent pen signatures. We are thrilled to sell this note at the same time as the Melamed Collection. There is a $1 and $2 Original Series known on the bank as well but no other $5s. You will be pleased to own such a rare piece of Americana if you are successful here. Obviously this is the first title of three used by the bank.
