April 6, 1863. A second series note for this issue, with the series designation at the left. According to Pierre Fricke, this is a PF-5 variety, which is rated as an R6, or very rare. As a side point, Fricke also states this number was delisted, as they were possibly post Civil War modifications. Others, however, believe these notes were quickly retired after being stolen. The date "SEPT'R, 1863." is stamped in red on the right side.
