This is the large brown seal $100 Gold Certificate that is one of only eight serial numbers recorded. The centering is very nice on this circ note. The last two notes offered were a VF 25 at $103,500 and a VF 30 at $92,000, both at ANA last year. We sold a VF 25 in August 2006 at $86,250 and later in June 2011 at $138,000, which means this type is highly sought after. If graded, mention would be made of a couple of minor closed splits that enhance the stability of the paper of this note. PCGS notes: repairs.
