This rare variety was not printed until July, 1950, only four months before the first of the 1950 series $20s were delivered. It exists for all 12 districts, but is available only sporadically. In general, San Francisco is one of the rarest districts for the 1934-D series and even though eight Narrow variety uncirculated notes have been graded by PMG and PCGS, few have ever appeared at auction, according to Track & Price. Easy to estimate a starting point, but it s hard to say where the bidding might stop.
