This is a fresh and original example of the first Legal Tender $20. The D position has allowed for three large margins but a tight top. As usual, the brittle nature of the paper used for these early notes has allowed a tiny margin split to form in the top edge. The split has been closed an can only be seen if the note is back-lighted. Obviously unpressed, with only light handling, a center bend and some corner folds.
