If you collect the Legal Tender varieties, then this note should be on your must have list. Sporting the low serial #14-B, it is the earliest known $5 Legal Tender and very likely the finest known Fr. 61. Five low grade examples surfaced in the Davenport bank hoard of $5 1862s and 1863s, but no nice ones. Track and Price says there are 28 examples reported, but it is a near certainty that the nine higher grade specimens are incorrectly identified. This is the best one I know about.
