Piqua, Third NB, 3750
Fr. 470 $5 1882BB
Grade:
Fine +
This is the rare Piqua bank which liquidated in 1902, after issuing only Brownbacks. In 1910 just $1,840 remained outstanding, and out of that, only this note and a serial #1 have survived. This attractive note was part of the Power Collection and has lovely, two-color signatures of D.W. Reid, Cashier and L. Leonard, President. With the first state seal. The other note has not been seen in decades.
